OK, there is no easy way to say this except to say that I am weak when it comes to gadgets and my Wife readily agreed upfront. Yes, I ordered a 64-GB iPad Wi-Fi edition today. Frankly, after I saw some of the screenshots that Rod helped me take of the Zinio magazines, and as we discussed how much he was enjoying testing out the app, I really started to waiver in my determination to wait until later. So, I did what any level-headed man should do and sat down with the wife. I broached the issue and her first comment was I can’t believe how calm you were on Sunday when you found out that Matt was the first person at Church to own an iPad, not you. You really held it in well. Wow, what faint praise! I think you should just go ahead and get one. You know you want it, and think how nice it will be to travel with it.Wow! Wait a second, something doesn’t add up here. I sat pondering in thought for a minute and then asked her You want my iPod Touch, right? Exactly! See, you’re not as slow as they always say you are. So, I even had permission to do it. I also counted up and determined that I have 4.66 GB of Zinio magazine issues that I need to read and that number is just growing every day, so I better get on this. BTW, I have already blown my allowance for this month on iPad apps that I HAVE to have, in anticipation of the unit arriving in about a week or so. Oh well, think of the posts I can write.
