It’s that time of the year where new Phone concepts start to leak out. New Software and video games get announced and oh Apple’s huge developer conference comes to town. The WWDC is Apples World Wide Developers Conference. The WWDC is where all the Apple Nerds get together to learn how to write really cool apps for the Mac and the Iphone/Ipod Touch Platforms. Although I usually take every chance to make fun of anything Apple, in this case I think all developers are nerds. (Rod especially) Maybe it’s jealousy maybe it is just looking at code and realizing it’s not for me. Last year the unveiled the iPhone 3G so I fully expect them to announce the iPhone 4.
The WWDC as Apple describes it is
he Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is the premier technical conference for developers innovating with Apple technologies. Over 1,000 Apple engineers will be at Moscone West to present advanced coding and development techniques that will show you how to enhance the capabilities of your applications with the revolutionary technologies in iPhone OS and Mac OS X.
The event is 5 days and will cost you $1599. Which really is not bad because by Apple’s numbers, you will have access to 1000 apple engineers and 5000 other developers. A good opportunity to get ideas for future apps.If this is interesting to you then here is the sign up.
