If anybody has been following this site for any length of time you should know quickly that I am a ride or die Windows Phone dude. I can’t wait for Windows Phone 7 to release at the end of the year, and I am very happy with my AT&T Tilt 2. But one thing I also am, is game for a challenge.

The other day when I was ranting about Microsoft not including Copy And Paste and Multitasking on the initial release of phone 7 Rod laid down the gauntlet. At the end of my rant, Rod basically said that I would like using an Android over a Windows Phone. Well, We are now going to find out. I have ordered the Nexus One and am going to spend quite some time using it. Well at least until Phone 7 releases.

To make sure that I don’t switch back early, I am going to let my son have my Tilt2. I was going to give it to my wife but, he talked her out of it. I guess college has taught him a few things after all. Over the next few months, I will be letting everyone know how the transition is going. I also will let everyone know how close I will be to either giving up on this experiment or deciding never to switch back to Windows Phone. I also will be able to review how the Nexus One works on the AT&T network.

Next up the un-boxing and initial thoughts and comparisons.

I almost spit up my Pop Tart this morning after reading this post. I hope this is an experiment. I hope the Scientist has not gone mad! Rod did you slip something in Chris’ drink.

Chris I know you are up for change and I know the site has to be a factor. You will be back!

As of today I know I will get Phone 7 when it comes out. But I am going to give the Nexus a fair shake!

Making Chris open minded is not something you can do by slipping something into his drink. Think chinese water torture and your getting close. Every person has their limit. Talk in a calm mono-tone voice and just say the same thing over and over again. Not to mention a little kitten sucking the breath out of his mouth when he sleeps. Plus and the best subliminal advertising. It took hours to put all this stuff together. Just wait for my next trick

I will try to see what I can do to get WP7 when it comes out. I am a little behind in technology. I get the hot phone months after it comes out due to a lack of funds/not wanting to get “bent over” for first day prices.

Fair shake? Ok. I can see that being fair.

I agree he will not be open minded with the slipping something in his drink. I was implying he would be altered in the mind which would help me to understand his decision. I know that if he loves it or hates it he will keep it real and not hold back.
You better not get an iPhone!
