With the momentum of the Mobile World Congress Microsoft decided to ride the wave and announce the updating of the Windows Mobile Marketplace. There were a lot of enhancements mentioned in the Blog of Todd Brix ( Senior Director of Mobile Services )but the three that stood out to me are
Installation onto Storage Cards
This was a huge pet peeve of mine that affected my review of YomoMedia. This should never have been missed in the first place but I am glad it is finally being taken care of
Better Application discovery
Searching is not that great right now in the app store but it has been enhanced to allow searching for apps and games based on any of the words used to describe the app.
Developer Toolkit for 6.5.3
I am hoping that this gives developers a jump start on writing apps
