If you enjoy reading a good novel you can appreciate the phases you go through of binge reading. With traditional books it was rare I would order a book without so much as reading an editorial review, yet my last six books got purchased without as much as looking at the cover art.
Initially most Kindle users leverage sample chapters as wish list of books and over time you almost forget downloading a book is in fact spending money. It makes you wonder if Amazon should Amazon offer some type of book reader subscriptions service like they do with Audible books?
Brent and I talked about how nice it would be to have an Audible and Kindle booked synced. Essentially, you would go from reading a book over breakfast to listening to the Audible book when driving to the office without missing a word. Despite several years passing since Amazon acquired Audible they have not yet created an experience the unites the written and spoken book.
I have found I enjoy both Audible and Kindle books and I hope Amazon is working some magic to bring the two experiences together. The last six books I purchased have both an Audible and Kindle version and I would have spend extra money if Whisper Sync united Audible and Kindle.
