Verizon has started the rollout of Android 2.1 on the HTC Droid Eris. I really hope this update hits my wife’s phone over the weekend. Â 1,000 phones got notifications yesterday and 9,000 will today. Â By the May 16 all devices should receive and update notification. Â Regardless all Droid Eris users should be on the lookout for an update.
