Over the last month I have been shocked by how much I like Windows Phone. Microsoft has done an amazing job with the general experience you get with the native application on WP7. I have never been a heavy Facebook user but with this device I fine myself remaining connected with friends on Windows Live and Facebook. Despite those benefits here are list of the apps I hope to see on WP7 in the coming weeks or months.
1. Travel Management Application
I believe Brent said it best, “TripIt is my travel brain.” Today, I use TripIt on my BlackBerry, but the additional screen size of an iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone makes the experience much better. For Windows Phone to become my primary device, I need a few critical applications that I rely on. while traveling. One of the reasons I prefer TripIt to Worldmate is the fact that all my colleagues are currently using TripIt. Regardless, one of the two applications needs to make their way to Windows Phone 7. A lot of business travelers use American Express as their travel agency. On top of that they use the powerful WorldMate app to keep them informed on itinerary changes and flight information. Today WorldMate and American Express announced a partnership to streamline the mobile offering to their customers. The partnership will bring travelers quite a few more services.

Like others, I find myself traveling nearly every week for work. If you are like me, it all starts to blur together and occasionally I have an epic fail! A few weeks ago, I left a client site just a little bit short on time to make my flight to yet another city and another client. Imagine my shock when I arrived to check-in and found that my flight had already boarded and was ready to go. I had confused the departure time due to timezone issues, as well as not paying attention. At that moment, I decided I had better take control or I would experience the same again and again.
