Just when I was about to buy my wife the HTC Incredible as I had given up hope Verizon would ever push an update, they go and give us hope. Rogers in Canada is now offering an update for Blackberry Bold 9700 Users via OTA. To check for updates from your Blackberry do the following: Options | Advanced Options | Wireless Updates.
In the future the update will be available for download and manual install. At that time you can update via Blackberry Desktop Manager.
If you're going to wait for the manual update you can use shrink OS to remove unwanted components of the installer and free up memory to install your Blackberry Apps. Check out Brent's Article

Well it looks like the Microsoft event will not be related to the Zune HD 4.5 fireware because that is available now. Â Sorry it too so long to post I had to install and check it out first. Â Go grab your Zune HD and update.

RIM is working at an unbelievable pace to upgrade their devices to 5.0. The Blackberry Bold 9700 Official Update is now available. Â Remember from the device you can check for OTA update. Â Options | Advanced Options | Wireless Update.

On your Blackberry Options | Advanced Options | Wireless Updates
Or you can download an update via Blackberry Desktop Manager. Â This is my preferred method as I always start with Shrink OS to remove the unwanted clutter. For instruction around shrink-os see Brent's article.

While I love my Zune HD there are a couple thing that drive me crazy. First, for not logical reason many features of the device are removed the moment you add it the the Zune AV Dock. Next is creating a Smart DJ playlist when listening to music. Both of these features have been confirmed by the guys over at Engadget. For me this takes the one step closer to removing any Mac or PC from my home entertainment system. Next up streaming content from a network share. I have a friend that has build a app for the Zune the actually allow you to stream music from a network share now he just needs to submit this to the marketplace.
I have no clue if this 4.5 news has anything to do with the 64GB Zune Microsoft had on the site earlier today. Â Engadget will have video coming soon.

It appears the leaked 5.0.0.591 will be the update Verizon Blackberry Tour 9630 customers will receive Tuesday, March 29th. Â Depending on if you count a minute as monday you can get the update at 11:59PM
