I know every BlackBerry user does not own an iPod Touch but the combination is can be as common as peanut butter and jelly. Today I was sitting in a meeting where every user at the table had a Blackberry and 4 of the 6 people also owned an iPod Touch. As we got to talking about it we all came to the same conclusion, that the BlackBerry is the king when it comes to anything related to communication (messaging and phone). In contrast, the iPod Touch, is great at the multi-media and application stuff. Yeah I know ground breaking details. The thing is, we ALL wanted an iPod Touch with a 3G data option like the iPad and a camera. A report on Mashable.com, Digg has created an app for the iPhone and iPod touch that will give those users easy access to Digg articles. I realize I am a geek but my friend showed me another level. I was hanging out with my friend a couple months back when we heard a fire truck going by. Â He grabbed his iPod Touch and started listening in on the emergency radio information. Â I suddenly realized he was a geek of a totally different kind. Â The app he was using is called Emergency Radio and here is what he likes about it.

Apple today released a new version of the iPhone and iPod touch software. The new version is 3.1.3. You can tether your device to iTunes and get the update.
