Today the huge MIX conference begins and there are many developers hoping for some good news. There are many speculations about what will be announced today however, none more anticipated than more access to Windows Phone 7. Among the Windows Phone 7 features highly desired by app developers are:

The posted MIX schedule shows the keynote speakers starting at 9 AM and running until 11AM. I am hoping for some more news on the next release of Windows Phone 7 codenamed Mango and also when are the new devices coming.
Microsoft’s Mix event is a developer conference done every year. This is where dev guys from desktops to phones get together to learn what new technology is coming. Developers also learn how to do there current projects better. There are a lot of different tracks or classes you can go to because not everyone has the same interests. This year, Mix 2011 will be held in Vegas. Getting around these type of events is always hinged on knowing the speakers schedules. The Mix 2011 app on Windows Phone 7 aims to keep attendees on point.
The video speaks for itself. All the haters that think that people will not create apps for Phone 7 better stop fooling themselves. Here is just yet another video of a developer stressing how easy it is to code for Phone 7. The biggest thing in the video is how it took him a few hours to do what took two weeks to create on Android. I love seeing stuff like this. I know there will be a time period where all my favorite apps won’t be available. These videos help me to believe my apps will be ported sooner than later.
As the months go by faster and faster it just means that we are getting closer to the release of Windows Phone 7. No of course since everyone has been duped into thinking that the amount of apps makes a phone, Microsoft has no choice but to ramp up the apps that will be available at launch.
