Audible Sale

If you have tried reading books but regardless of the topic you just cannot enjoy reading you should consider audiobooks. This week Audible is having a 40% off Sale on 50,000 audiobooks. Audible books are well-produced audiobooks that bring the characters to life. While 40% off is a great deal without a commitment, I would consider the trial membership where you get 3 books over 3 months for $7.49.

Audible work natively on all iPods and iPhones. Additionally, Audible has mobile clients for Android, BlackBerry, and iPhone that allow for wireless book downloads using your monthly book credit(s).

He initially tried to use iTunes but the process was not as clean as desired and he ended up with hundreds of individual files that made a mess of his iTunes library.  I did later learn the reason the CD set was so cheap was disc 1, 4, and 12 would not play.  Like any geek I broke out the toothpaste with baking soda and polished the disc and like magic they played fine. Audible

As you have probably guessed by now, I like digital media! I try and keep all my books and magazines completely digital. It isn’t too difficult, but there are some issues that you have to occasionally work around. A few years ago, my employment required that I drive about 100 minutes each way, every single work day, to get to my job. After just a week, I figured my only two choices were to quit or find some way to cope. Lucky for me that I remembered a trial subscription that I had received years before with the purchase of a Windows Mobile phone to Audible.com (now owned by Amazon).
