The Motorola Backflip hit AT&T on Friday and for most people the cost will be $99.99 with a $100 mail-in-rebate and 2-year contract. Maybe that is why they chose something that absolutely would NOT compete with the iPhone, yet, still let them get their toe in the water, so to speak. [click to continue…]
I bought the Motorola Droid over the Droid Eris because of the newer OS, 2.1 vs 1.6 now the Droid Eris (the device I really wanted) is getting the 2.1 OTA update first. I love my wife but how in the name of everything technical is she going to be running a more advanced operating system than I. Someone in the land of the Tech Gods is playing a bad trick on me. Is it April 1st and I just don’t know it? Did Motorola not say they would push the update, then said they made a mistake. I cannot be the only PISSED, Motorola Droid, user at this moment.
I know I can root my phone and I may do so after my flight today. If I don’t see 2.1 next week, I will NEVER BY A MOTOROLA DEVICE AGAIN. I second guessed myself and knew I should have gone with the Eris. WHY OH WHY DID I SECOND GUESS. DAMN YOU MOTOROLA!!!
