India’s Ministry of Home affairs has said, RIM have made certain proposals for lawful access by law enforcement agencies and these would be operationalized immediately, and that the feasibility of the solutions offered would be assessed thereafter. There are no details currently and the government will re0evaluate after 60 days. It is possible we will hear this topic again more likely around Google and Skype as India wants them to setup servers in their country.
