Post image for Resolve Issue where Motorola Atrix Terminates Call if Power Button is Pressed

I was listening to a Motorola Atrix customer describe an issue where pressing the power button while on a call would terminate the call. The problem, as described was if you are on a call and press mute or turn on speaker phone if the phone screen sleeps you cannot disable mute or speaker phone as pressing power terminates the call. This creates an issue as using the power button is how you wake the phone display from sleep. I had never seen this behavior however it had to do with an accessibility option.

It appears the Motorola Atrix may ship with a default setting that while in call the power button ends a call. If you want to change this behavior just navigate to Menu | Settings | Accessibility then look a setting for power button behavior while in call. I helped my friend fix his Atrix and he has not experienced the issue since we implemented the change.

Awesome!! This was what I was looking for. It’s very annoying to have to phone go to sleep during speakerphone or using bluetooth, and that the only way to wake it up is to use the power button… and hang up the call.
