Opera has released the Mini 5 beta for the Android platform. Opera has been around fro quite some time but have been having trouble since the newer Smarphones have a browser included. But traditionally most users have always liked the Opera browser.

The Opera browser beta has

  • Speed Dial for quick site access
  • Tabbed Browsing

There is another feature of the Opera browser that uses compression. Opera runs the web pages through their own servers which compresses the site before it is sent to your phone. I know Rod hates this feature because he is a huge privacy freak. Also some sites just don’t render properly. Our initial view showed that the Default browser rendered better than Opera browser.

There is also an included Password Manager and full support for Landscape browsing. We are sure that everyone's experience will be different so give it a shot and let us know what you think.
