I was doing some catchup and an article on Crackberry says BIS 3.0 will be rolled out in North America on Sunday, March 28 2010. This will greatly help Google’s business goals around hosting corporate email. BIS 3.0 is suppose to support GMail Label creation and deletion (labels are Googles version of mail folders) and support for OpenDocument files. Synchronization of read status and sent messages are suppose to come sometime in the Spring.  Now let see how long it takes the carriers to upgrade their BIS servers.
