Apple bought Quattro for mobile Ads and I am sure in classic Apple fashion we will see a new way for them to push Ads.  Hoping to see some updates to the iPhone SDK shortly. Google on the other hand bought AdMob. We all know Google’s success with Ads. I wonder Google will compete with Apple in this space. Apple with the iPhone is going to control a huge Ad Market. I suspect the monolopistic behavior of Apple will apply to the Ad space.

Wonder if Apple’s news today was specifically pushed to impact the Google Event. Maybe Google can return the favor later this month at the tablet announcement. Maybe offer 5,000 free phones or something CRAZY.

Interesting thought. Who needs who more. I believe some
of the best iPhone apps are gooogle based. YouTube, maps with street view, earth, google voice search.

I think apple would miss one of it’s best partnerships if things get sour

I want to see Google and Apple go head-to-head. I hated seeing the cozy “partnership” between obvious competitors. Imagine if Google and MS had a “partnership”. Sad the DOJ let it go for so long. Maybe 2010 will be when Google and Apple get looked for their business practices in certain markets.

I want to see Google beat up on Apple some. This will make for great things for the consumer
