It’s always a nice thing to see companies support their own platforms. And Microsoft is not stopping the support for Windows Phone 7. Today the released another free MSN application called MSN Video. MSN the website does have videos much like YouTube does. However it is not as popular. MSN Video allows you to browse the available videos and stream them on your Windows Phone. The app follows the Metro UI perfectly. The best part is played videos appear in the history of the Music + Videos Hub. To locate a video to play you can use the many categories available in the MSN Video. The videos play in full screen and even feature a HQ option.
When playing a video in HQ it does take longer to load but looks a lot better than playing the video regular. On the other side, playing the video in regular mode loads a lot faster than HQ. There are already a lot of videos available and MSN Video streams perfectly. As I see it, you can never have to many options for entertainment.
MSN Video is free and you can get it from the Zune Marketplace.
