A few weeks ago, we reported Rovio finally stated Angry Birds was coming soon to Windows Phone and now Microsoft officially announced Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7. Rovio’s game Angry Birds is probably the most popular game on smartphones. Surprisingly, Angry Birds will be a part of Xbox Live as opposed to a standalone game. This means the game will have achievements that will count towards your overall gamer card. This feature alone gives Windows Phone 7’s version an advantage over the other smartphone platforms. Microsoft also announced five more Xbox Live titles. There is no doubt you will run through your battery playing these new titles therefore consider getting a backup.
The lists of titles are:
- Doodle Jump
- Plants vs. Zombies
- Hydro Thunder Go
- Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I
- geoDefense.
Phone 7 users can expect the release on April 6.
