PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RIM Announce the BlackBerry Slider on August 3rd. I don’t want to hear about the Pearl 3G. I hope RIM demonstrates BlackBerry OS 6 running on a variety of devices including non touch screens. They need to put concerns to rest over devices and the future OS. BlackBerry needs some buzz, iPhone and Android dominate the mobile phone press today and Windows Phone 7 is also starting to generate buzz. The Slider would be a great announcement. We plan to cover the event live.
