Dell Streak

I am not a video expert, but I would have expected better video quality from Dell.  Despite the video quality it is nice to see a company of Dell’s size lets product teams reach the public like this.  The video tires to answers some important questions.  Oh yeah and Kevin Andrews of Dell tweeted the Streak won’t be releasing this week.  Wonder why.  The pricing on the Dell Streak is $299 with an AT&T contract and $549 without a contract.

What Android Version will the device support? Dell Plans to upgrade to Froyo.  No timeline was provided
Will the Dell Streak work on TMobile? The Streak is not certified or compatibile with T-Mobile
What colors will the Dell Streak be available in? Carbon available in UK and round the world soon.  Cherry Red will ship later.

Lets be clear the Dell Streak will ship with Android 1.6, is demoed below running 2.1, and will upgrade later to 2.2.  Yeah that was not at all confusing or clear.  And with the recent delay hopefully 1.6 will be pulled off the table.  The Streak has a 1GHz processor, front facing camera, and 512 MB RAM.
