Yesterday we pointed out an interview with Sprint Executives where they were quoted as saying Windows Phones did not sell well and there would be no new devices until at least the fall. While it is no mystery that Windows Phones are not flying off the shelves it was the another quote from the article that made Phone 7 fans upset. The statement was that they number one reason for returned Windows Phones was the experience even though The HTC Arrive is one of their top rated phones.

Looks like AT&T was not the Only carrier more 4G LTE phones as Sprint announced they are getting the Galaxy Nexus. Sprints LTE Network is not up yet but they are expecting the fist cities to be Dallas, Atlanta, Houston and San Antonio.

The first CDMA Windows Phone 7 device the HTC Arrive is on sale on Amazon.com for 1 penny. Of course, to get this price it requires a two-year contract however it is not a bad price if you are not planning to switch carriers. The HTC Arrive features a slide out keyboard, 1GHZ Snapdragon Processor and a 3.6-inch touchscreen. The list price is 469 dollars without a contract so the choice is yours.

Sprint has added a direct carrier billing option when purchasing Android apps from the Market. Both AT&T and T-Mobile both already support direct carrier billing. It is likely the direct carrier billing option will be extended to Google’s coming music service. With Amazon currently offering the Amazon Android App Store and having the Amazon Cloud Player for Android I don’t know how valuable the direct carrier billing will be.

Novatel’s 3G/4G MiFi mobile hotspot is now available on Sprint for $79.99 with a two-year contract. The device currently is only available via direct shipment and will hit Sprint retail stores on April 17th. The Novatel MiFi has a microSD card slot that allows you so easily share files between users connected to the MiFi. Unlike Verizon, Sprint does offer an unlimited 4G data plan.

I am not sure what one needs a 3D Android Smartphone for so I will leave that to our readers to help me understand. Nonetheless, Sprint has announced the HTC EVO 3D with a 4.3 inch glass display that apparently does not require 3D glasses.
The HTC EVO 3D Specs are:

The time is coming for the first CDMA Windows Phone 7 device to hit the market. Instead of Verizon being first, it turns out that, Sprint will release Windows Phone 7. If you are planning to get the HTC Arrive from Sprint, you can actually pre-order the device from Wirefly.com for 50 dollars. Of course, a price like that requires a two-year contract but that is not a big deal. The actual release date on Sprint is expected to be on March 20th.
