This device is a desktop Bluetooth speakerphone functional enough for your office and sleek enough for your living room. Listening to the Jawbone Jambox provides a surprising yet awesome surprise as the sound that comes from the speaker more than easily fills the room. This makes the device perfect for background music during a get together or even great for relaxing on a beach.

The Jambox also doubles as a speakerphone for conference call, which is achieved by including a microphone. The only downside was the lack of power on the Microphone as some callers had trouble hearing us during conversations.

Our favorite PC Backup company CrashPlan, has released a Windows Phone version of there mobile applications. Responding to a question, CrashPlan’s tweeted,

“Actually, We’ve released a Windows Phone version of the apps today. Should appear in the Marketplace within a day.”

We rely in CrashPlan to back up our Windows HomeServers and other pc’s. CrashPlan has a few backup methods where one is to simply backup to the cloud and another is to backup to a friends house too.

Amazon is selling the Samsung Focus Flash for 1 penny with a new contract or individual upgrade. We often feature Amazon Penny Phones and the Focus Flash is a great addition. The Focus Flash is meant to be an entry level Windows Phone device however it is a great one. Yesterday we pointed out an interview with Sprint Executives where they were quoted as saying Windows Phones did not sell well and there would be no new devices until at least the fall. While it is no mystery that Windows Phones are not flying off the shelves it was the another quote from the article that made Phone 7 fans upset. The statement was that they number one reason for returned Windows Phones was the experience even though The HTC Arrive is one of their top rated phones.

Windows Phone fans on Sprint are taking this lightly and an online petition has been created to force Sprint to carry more Windows Phones. I Think many people under-estimate the following of Windows Phone 7 and while there may not be many phone sales there are still millions of fans.

Many Sprint consumers who are Windows Phone Fans have been wondering when they will be releasing a new device and unfortunately, it will not be anytime soon. According to an article on pcmag.com, Sprint’s VP of product realization David Owens stated that Windows Phone was not doing well on Sprint.

Sprint is looking at giving Windows Phone another stab in the “August-September time period,” Owens said, but he couldn’t muster much enthusiasm for the platform.

“We have a Windows device in our lineup, but honestly, it hasn’t done well enough for us to jump back into the fire. We told Microsoft: You guys have to go build the enthusiasm for the product. We’ll train our reps on why it’s great…[but] the number-one reason the product was returned was the user experience,” he said.

“We want to participate in the market, but we can’t build that brand by ourself,” Sprint director of product development Lois Fagan pitched in. “We’re cautiously optimistic, but [Windows Phone] just hasn’t taken off.”

Google’s Android OS and Apple’s iOS may have the market locked down, Owens mused.

“There’s a tremendous market momentum that Apple has…and I think Ice Cream Sandwich, and what Android’s doing, will continue to have momentum. It squeezes down to such a small subset what’s left,” he said.

There is no doubt that Windows Phone is not selling hand over fist but the comment of building the brad themselves struck me as odd since they only ever carried one device the Arrive. Furthermore, The HTC Arrive is one of their top rated phones. Well this just means Microsoft has more work to do.

Yesterday Nokia and AT&T made real and announced the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone 7 device. This new device will mare Nokia’s second Windows Phone 7 device to launch in the US and the first LTE version. Other Specs include a 1.4 Ghz processor, 4.3-inch clear black AMOLED screen, 1830 mAH battery and 16 gigabytes storage. The phone looks very similar to the Nokia 800 which is a beautiful device however it is slightly bigger.

Even though this is Microsoft’s last CES keynote, that has not stopped them from bringing the news. Last night they announced multiple LTE Phones the Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II and Kinect for Windows. In addition to last night’s splash today they announced a host of new Windows Phone games. The titles include Xbox 360 favorites Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Splinter Cell. I can see that after February, my productivity level is going down.

Here are the new Windows Phone 7 games announced

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Electronic Arts): The Need for Speed franchise adds another title to Windows Phone and more heart-pounding high-speed chases. In Hot Pursuit, take your pick of up to 20 supercars such as the Pagani Zonda Cinque, or stop racers cold as a cop in a police interceptors such as the Lamborghini Reventon. Use tilt controls and well-timed screen touch braking to outrun the cops or make the bust. Hot Pursuit has 24 day and night tracks and 48 career events to collect bounty and become a top driver.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction (Gameloft): The benchmark of action stealth games on Xbox 360 is coming for the first time to Windows Phone. As agent Sam Fisher, unleashed your mad skills as a Special Forces operative to fight a corrupt secret agency and get your daughter back. Run, jump, fight and shoot using a handgun, a shotgun, an AK-47 assault rifle and a bazooka, or maintain stealth by improvising with nearby objects. From Washington, D.C. to Iraq, your daughter’s safety is the priority and will follow your own rules of engagement.

Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp (Microsoft Studios): You may be familiar with the Toy Soldiers franchise from Xbox 360, and now Boot Camp is coming exclusively to Windows Phone. BulletAsylum (Microsoft Studios): If you remember Missile Command, BulletAsylum is faster and crazier. With a ridiculous (but satisfying) amount of firepower at your disposal, it’s your job to destroy the approaching alien hordes. Use one or two fingers to aim at the approaching invaders and upgrade your defenses as you progress through the game. This Windows Phone exclusive title has an upbeat music track and will be quite the blast.

Chickens Can’t Fly (Microsoft Studios): A sequel to the popular Chicken Can Dream and another exclusive to Windows Phone, in Chickens Can’t Fly you’ll conduct a range of experiments to see what chickens are capable of. Working through four laboratories, perform experiment and answer questions such as: Is there life after the butcher? Are chickens afraid of ghosts? Does a frozen chicken get dizzy? In an experimental pit, maneuver chickens to avoid obstacles, grab power-ups and power-downs, gather corn, and make it through the experiment. Chickens Can’t Fly will also take advantage of new features in the 7.5 update including Live Tiles (showing game progress) and fun, downloadable chicken-themed ringtones.

One of the coolest Windows Phone Commercials is the one titles “Keep Shopping” where the father sees his shopping list growing because the kids are editing it while he is out. What some people may not realize that this is a real feature of Office Mobile on Windows Phone 7. The Nokia Lumia 800 has reached the FCC and it is only a matter of time before some US carrier will be selling this beautiful Windows Phone 7 device. Rod and I had a chance to play with the Lumia at the Microsoft event in New York a few weeks ago and found it to feel great in the hands. No word yet exactly which carrier is getting this device but it is a good bet it will work on AT&T.

Everything about the camera on the HTC Titan has been perfect so far until Jerome from wingadgetnews.com came across a video recording bug. It seems while recording a recording, if the phone rings, the audio is lost from the recording. When testing this on the Samsung Focus S Windows Phone, the device kept recording without issue. Both devices shut off the video if you actually answer the call so it seems that if you are recording something important you may want to switch on Airplane mode.
