Bloomberg has launched a new app called Bloomberg TV+ app for the iPad. If you have a tablet that supports adobe flash you can already enjoy Bloomberg TV via your web browser. The mobile app for the iPad is free and as suspected you will see ads. For many people that travel with an iPad this is yet another reason not to turn on your TV once you get to your hotel room.

When you join your first reward program you don’t have visions of how many points you might let expire unused in that loyalty program. The vast majority of reward points, however, go unused. With just one membership reward programs are easy to manage, although, over time, the list balloons increasing the management complexity by a order of magnitude. Membership programs tend to become “out of sight, out of mind”, and, this is why points expire.
Imagine the complexity of tracking membership programs from American Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue, Virgin Atlantic, United, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, American Express, Bank of America, CapitalOne, Chase, Thrifty, Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, and National, all on different websites. Bath time in our house is if filled with pulse racing, heart-bounding music, courtesy of the Sonos Play 3.

I have been running the Cyanogen 7.1 Android ROM on my HP TouchPad for about 4 days. While it is great for an Alpha build, there is no doubt that this is an Alpha build. This is not an insult, rather a reality of what the development group has communicated. WebOS is actually a nice platform to interact with. I loved the keyboard and every element RIM stole and added to the PlayBook. That said, given HP has waived the white flag so early in the game, it is not likely that any developers will build for WebOS. I purchased the TouchPad with the intentions of installing Windows 8 and/or Android, so this conclusion was foreseen.
