The Flip it USB Charger is a creative solution to a problem which most travelers face. Many airports are providing charging stations and more power outlets, but despite the number of outlets, there will come a time when you cannot get an outlet to charge up one of your many devices. The Flipit USB charger lets you charge a USB device by sharing a single outlet with another traveler. Essentially, you unplug their device and slide the Flipit tab on their wall adapter, then plug back in. Both have power.

OK, let’s get this out of the way right up front: This phone is so thin it could almost double for a letter-opener. I have to admit that I had my worries that I would break the device in half, but nothing could be further from the truth. This was a fun review for me because I knew that I would be purchasing one of the two phones review by SMR this week. In the end, I did not chose this phone, but had it been the only choice, I believe I would have been very happy indeed with the results. The Motorola Droid RAZR is an amazing piece of technology and it speaks very well for the future of Motorola in the Android ecosystem.

Apple has released the much awaited iOS 5.01, which should address the battery issues many users are experiencing. Hopefully it also covers the recent security exploit highlighted by Charlie Miller. Additionally this update should address multi touch gestures on the original iPad, bugs with iCould documents, voice recognition for Australian users using dictation.
This is the first time you are able to update your iOS device OTA (over the air). Over WiFi this update took about 1 minutes from clicking the button until it rebooted and started the install. The install itself was completed in 3-4 minutes. I remain connected to power, just in case. If you have not received and update you can force a check by going to Settings | General | Software Update.

The iPad is becoming a common guest in meetings. I have never seen more iPads or Logitech Keyboard Cases as I have a Blog World 2011 in LA. While laptops dominated the landscape it was clear that the trendsetters opted for their iPad 2 with the Logitech Keyboard Case. The ultra slim iPad 2 and Logitech Keyboard Case combination made the MacBook Air look like a relic of the past.
