I am really enjoying the battle between AT&T and Verizon. First the whole Map Gate fiasco. Now we have the price wars. It seems for now that we the consumer are benefiting from it. But we will also have to wait and see how long it lasts. Verizon last week lowered their unlimited plan to 69.99 per month. This is down from 99 dollars. Now AT&T has dropped their unlimited plan to 69.99 as well. The only thing that I see better for us is for them to battle out the data plans but so far it does not look like that is going to happen. Especially since AT&T’s network is struggling with the iPhone data traffic. Either way take a look at the new plans and maybe you can benefit from one of them.

Apple bought Quattro for mobile Ads and I am sure in classic Apple fashion we will see a new way for them to push Ads. Hoping to see some updates to the iPhone SDK shortly. Google on the other hand bought AdMob. We all know Google’s success with Ads. I wonder Google will compete with Apple in this space. Apple with the iPhone is going to control a huge Ad Market. I suspect the monolopistic behavior of Apple will apply to the Ad space. [click to continue…]
