Emoticons are an quick and fun way to express yourself in text messages.  As we are now finding out via Microsoft’s Windows Phone team memeber Michael Stroh, there are tons of cool emoticons in Windows Phone 7.5.  On the last two Windows Phone Blog Tip Tuesdays, Michael Stroh has posted key combinations of the vast array of emoticons available in two parts.  Michael warns that due to a lack of global standards, some character combos might bring up different images if sent to none Windows Phone or Windows Live Messenger users.  Qudos to Michael Stroh for sharing some serious Windows Phone fun.  So give the Windows Phone emoticons a try and let us know what you think. Case Mate HTC Titan Tough Case

After a week of using my new HTC Titan, I decided to invest into a nice case. Although the Titan has a very solid build, the smooth metal body makes it susceptible to drops. During the first week, I had a couple of close calls.

After searching the Internet and only coming up with mostly pouches and cheap black gel cases, I decided to try the AT&T website. AT&T had a Case-Mate Tough Case for the Titan that wasn’t even listed on the Case-Mate website. The Case-Mate listed for $45 which is more than I wanted pay for a case, but the day I purchased it, there was a 35% discount. So I ended up paying $29.25 that day.

I am now into my 3rd day of using my HTC Titan and I must tell you it has been an absolute pleasure. Prior to Black Friday, I had been using my Samsung Focus Windows Phone since it launched a little over a year ago. I have been very pleased with my Focus and had planned to purchase the new Samsung Focus S however, once I held the HTC Titan in my hands at the Windows Phone Inner Circle event in Washington D. C., I knew this was the device for me. Since that day, I have been anxiously waiting for AT&T to release the HTC Titan and now that I have it, the Titan has not disappointed.
