AT&T and Samsung recently released the the Samsung Focus Flash, the spiritual (and literal) little brother to the Focus S. The phone’s size and price have shrunk, but should your attention also shrink away from it? Find out in the review below.

By way of full disclosure, I am an Android user of over 3 years, and this is my first experience with a Windows Phone 7 device. I’ll try to keep this review mostly to the phone itself, and I’ll tackle my views on the Windows Phone 7 OS after I’ve spent some more time with the phone, and the HTC Titan.

By way of full disclosure, this is the first Galaxy S2 (GS2) variant that I have tested. The folks at AT&T were kind enough to send this to us and I have been using it over the holiday break, and my experience thus far has been favorable. Let’s get down to it then.

Motorola Droid Razr

When the Motorola Droid Razr was announced last month, we learned the specs for this amazing phone, a pre-order date, but were not given a hard release date. I don’t know about you, but I think that there are few things worse than pre-ordering something without knowing when I’m going to actually have it in my hands.

Nook Color 2 to be Announced on November 7th?

Nook Color

Barnes and Noble sent out invitations to the media about a “very special announcement” to happen on November 7th in New York City. This seems to confirm the rumors about the Nook Color 2 launching soon that began circulating over the weekend. We still don’t know any details about B&N’s latest, but if they hope to compete with the Fire, they will need to at least match the technical specs and $199 price tag of Amazon’s new eReader/tablet. Barnes and Noble may be the world’s largest book seller, but I think that they will be hard pressed to compete with Amazon’s ecosystem in other areas. If they can garner the support of Google and the Android Marketplace, they may just have a chance at competing with Amazon. As a Nook user, myself, I can hardly wait to see what Barnes and Noble has up its sleeves. Stay tuned for all of the details next week after the press conference.
