In a recent press release, AT&T announced the improvement of their network in the DC area. Despite what other carriers may think, there are many happy AT&T customers like myself. It is nice to see that AT&T is not resting and upgrading their capacity and network for mobile phones, especially in the DC area where I live. Because of their efforts, there are retaining iPhone users were many thought they would lose them to Verizon.

I watched one of my favorite shows Psych, the other day, and am sure I spotted the Samsung Focus. With Windows Phone 7 turning a year old, it is now time for Microsoft to start ratcheting up the marketing for the platform. So far, Microsoft has turned up the heat a little but Nokia is really putting in work. Therefore, any time I see Windows Phone 7 device on TV, other than a commercial, is fantastic. Xbox 360 fans across the world are waiting for the new dashboard update that was scheduled to release today. Unfortunately, a tweet from Major Nelson states that the update is delayed. The new update brings the ability to watch live TV on your console from various provides and search for content via Bing. All of these new features are controlled with your voice on the Kinect Sensor or with a traditional one. Major Nelson said he would have an update later today as to when the update will release.

Key Ring is a fantastic app on Windows Phone 7 and is pinned on my HTC Titan’s start screen. Many people have a key ring or a wallet full of their favorite pharmacy, clothing, or grocery store’s membership card. The problem with this practice is that the clutter builds rapidly, and more over you find your keychain becoming unusable. CardStar is a popular smartphone application, which allows you to scan your cards to your mobile device however; Key Ring is a much better app.

For people waiting around for the HTC Titan may be disturbed to know that you will be waiting a bit longer. We ordered the HTC Titan from AT&T on Monday morning and have just now received an email that the 4.7 inch Windows Phone 7 device is now backordered. This goes back to reports that we were getting on Monday were readers could not find the massive Titan phone at their local retailers. I am not sure if they had a last minute issue or are demand for the HTC Titan higher than they expected. Whichever turns out to be true, these are issue Microsoft do not need. I hope that devices will make it out soon to the Windows Phone 7 fans that want them.

We have received word that readers are having trouble locating the HTC Titan Windows Phone 7 device at local AT&T retail stores. After hearing about the difficulties, I decided to go to my local store and to my surprise; the Titan was not in stock. Furthermore, one of the associates at the store informed me that HTC pushed the retail shipment of Titan’s back for two weeks. We know some people were able to get hold of the new device but we are wondering if more people are running into the same situation that I am seeing.

After what seemed to be years, however in actuality only a few weeks, we have finally received the HTC Titan. As far as Windows Phone 7 devices goes, the Titan is one of the best devices available. When you grab the phone, hold, and feel it, you quickly feel why HTC earned the sentiments reviewers are giving it.
