Loudtalks main 1

A few weeks ago I wrote an article about reassigning the push to talk button (ptt) on your Phone.  I used my button as a Home Screen button, but you can really choose what ever app you want. After I published the article I received a response with a very candid idea. Use the ptt for what it was meant for. But the whole reason why I do not use it today is I have to pay for it. Loudtalks Lite lets you use it for free

Post image for MyMobiler 1.25 Beta is available

One of my favorite apps for my Tilt 2 is MyMobiler which allows you to connect your phone to your pc. Once connected you can actually use your mouse and keyboard for inputs on your phone. MyMobiler also supports Copy/Cut/Paste between your phone and your computer. The best feature of MyMobiler is that it can take screen shots and video recordings of your screen. MyMobiler is another free app created for Windows Phone.

You can download the current version of MyMobiler or the beta version MyMobiler Beta

Google has launched a new version of the Google Voice app for the iPhone. In the Middle of 2009, Google created an app for the iPhone that would allow users to initiate Google Voice calls through the iPhone. Post image for App Review Labor Mate for iPhone

I spend a lot of time bashing the iPhone most likely because I am just good at it. I pride myself on honesty and there are a few useful applications. Let us be clear, if some of them were available on other platforms I may not have used it on the iPhone however, that is not the case. Over the next few weeks, I will write about the apps that I liked with the first being Labor Mate for iPhone.

Post image for Create Easy Zune HD Playlists

The Zune HD is the best media player out today. From the easy to use interface to the beautiful screen. As a media player it beats the rest hands down. One of the things that everyone does on their media players is create playlists. The iPod was very easy to create them but the Zune HD does not function the same. Anyone that had an iPod, and was used to drag and dropping you media files into a playlist will find that gone when using the Zune HD. So if you are switching, like I did, let me help you.

Windows Phone Functional Lock Screen

One of the downsides of having a touch screen phone is the inevitable accidental dialing of a contact. I sometimes wonder how many relationships have come to an end because of it. The other issue is when you put the phone up to your face. How many times have you accidently ended a call when your face hits the button? The HTC Tilt 2 addresses the latter problem by adding a proximity sensor to the phone. When the phone reaches your face, it automatically shuts off the screen. The former issue is solved by locking the Screen. But you know this already so what is the point? Well let me tell you.
