I guess the only thing left for today is what is AT&T feeling like right now. Now that they will have to share on of the most popular phones out with their enemy? Well they did not go into a lot of detail. Instead they pointed out the points we made earlier. Since the Verizon iPhone will be running on CDMA, you will not be able to do data and voice at the same time. Also the Verizon data network is slower than AT&T’s.

Hey Fans, you may have heard the announcement about Apple’s iPhone today. The iPhone will continue to be a better experience with AT&T. Remember, we offer the fastest speeds (competitor’s mobile broadband network is 60% slower on average), the ability to talk and use apps at the same time, unsurpassed global coverage, and access to our entire national Wi-Fi network, at no extra cost with smartphone data plans.”

The real pain for AT&T will come if Verizon gets a LTE iPhone before they do. Verizon has already got a jump start on rolling out the new faster network. So getting the iPhone for it first would really be a kick in the pills.
