I could not be happier with my decision to return my iPhone and now Apple Announces their special event for September 1st at 10 AM PT. This is the classic time when apple announces their new iPod line. Rumor leads us to believe a new AppleTV device (aka iTV), iPod Touch with updated display and dual camera for FaceTime chat. I cannot see a Verizon announcement but if they wanted to shock everyone that would be unsuspected for this event. Given the current concerns around the iPhone reception this would not be the best time for an announcement.
