Netflix has been under a barrage of attacks from heated rival Blockbuster however, they have another major player in Amazon Instant who is making big strides by signing a huge network like FOX. This gives Amazon shows like 24, Arrested Development and the X-File. Under their belt are now CBS, FOX and NBCUniversal. I do like the Netflix Service but they really have some work to do in the coming year. With Amazon instant being a part of Amazon Prime which is only $79 a year this is definitely becoming a viable alternative to Netflix, especially since you can watch Amazon Prime Instant videos on Android Phones.

I was actually all set to dump Netflix until they signed with Discovery to carry all their TV fare. I guess that will keep my put there for now.

Yup, I was surprised when I looked last week and saw all of the Discovery shows.  That’s actually some of the best shows on TV.
